accidents resulting from moving and handling issues can be avoided with the proper training
and knowledge. The Meta Training Academy Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling
has been designed for learners/employees who need specific training around moving and
handling, or for refresher training.
It aims to ensure learners/employees understand that moving and handling must be carried
out the right way, and that they recognise its importance in contributing to a safe working
environment
